that Ezekiel cannot be found in the rolls for the 164th Regiment. There are no papers, therefore, showing any service
in that Regiment, and all claims for a pension are summarily denied. The file is stamped "Abandoned," 19 Oct 1909.

describes Ezekiel at the time of service as having dark hair.
