John and Lydia Kimble descendants

Are the Kimble's Dutch?

Guilty by affiliation?

The Low family is of Dutch origin. Eber Franklin served in the War of 1812, with Abraham Low, and had an affidavit signed by him. Benjamin Kimble (possibly a brother of John Kimble) was adjacent to Abraham Low on the census of 1810 in Riga, NY.

The Widener family is of Dutch origin. Henry Widener married Prudence Kimble. Henry's sister Mary married Henry Franklin, son of James Franklin and Betsey Oathout.

Oathout, as spelled Oudhout, is dutch.

The Sickles family is said to originate in Vienna, Austria and then Amsterdam, Holland after that, after which Zacharias Sickles settled in Bergen, and Hudson Counties, in New Jersey

The Bogart family is of Dutch origin. Nathan Kimble married Mary Ann Bogart.

The Gouverneur family is Dutch, which seems to be possibly connected, if we are also connected to Robert T. Kemble (and Isaac Kemble?), early purchasers of land in Ontario County, where Riga, Monroe County, is located.
