Benjamin is listed next on census after Abraham Low, who served in the War of 1812 in close association with Eber Franklin, as did Nathan Kimble. Eber Franklin, Daniel Bennett and Abraham Low were each other's witnesses that they all marched from Chili to Buffalo and back. Furthermore, Eber Franklin's second "1/2 cousin," Harriett Franklin- a descendant of Ichabod Franklin and Hannah Andrews, daughter of James Franklin and Betsey Oathout, married Peter Low/Lowe, son of Abram/Abraham Low/Lowe and Catharine Bigler. According to "TOWN OF NAPOLI," page 820, BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCHES FROM: "HISTORICAL GAZETTEER AND BIOGRAPHICAL MEMORIAL of

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY, NY, ed by WILLIAM ADAMS, Published 1893, this is the Abraham Low who served in the War of 1812. The Low's were from New Jersey.

An interesting side note is that in the following early history of the Low/Lowe family, according to this source <http://www.geocities.com/cwheatley2000/lowefam.html>, there are connections to the Bogarts/Bogerts and the Delamaters.
